Hi there! I’m James Castaneda, a passionate videographer and second photographer at Joy & Co. Phoenix. My journey in the world of visual storytelling has been incredibly rewarding, but my greatest joy comes from my family. I’m blessed to have a wonderful wife and two amazing kids, ages 6 and 4, who are my everything. Family time is sacred to me, and we cherish every moment we spend together. In addition to my family life, I’m heavily involved in our church community, where I oversee multiple departments. This role allows me to connect with others and contribute to something greater than myself, which I find deeply fulfilling. When it comes to weddings, I absolutely love capturing such significant days in people’s lives. I often tell my clients that while photography may capture the day, videography allows them to relive those precious moments. It’s an honor to be part of such a meaningful experience. One of my best wedding experiences has been connecting with like-minded photographers and videographers. Some of my closest friends today are those I’ve met while working together in this beautiful industry. An interesting tidbit about me is that I’ve been an active musician for the past 17 years. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and it influences my creative approach to videography. I’m excited to continue telling stories through my lens and capturing the magic of life’s most important moments!
